ORX News has launched a new interactive tool for its subscribers as part of their first quarter 2024 resources.
During a productive first quarter, the ORX News team released a series of new editorial reports, such as the Year in Review, the ORX News Data Explorer, and the Public Loss Profiles. These reports are enriched with interactive data visualisations, offering an engaging and informative way to explore the data.
Discover our innovative approach to reporting in 2024
The ORX News Data Explorer was published alongside the Year In Review. It allows users to examine the 12 months’ worth of News data, including trends and top stories. New features have been added to allow users to select a time frame and currency.
The Public Loss Profiles are a series of over 60 reports that provide an overview of the News database. The reports show trends in the data, the top losses, regional highlights, and point to relevant resources, such as Deep Dives. This year the reports provide a severity and frequency breakdown, and some information on the top 1% of losses in each category for the last five years.
Deep Dives
Deep Dives offer firms a means to obtain a detailed report on specific events, detailing internal and external risk factors, remedial measures and impact amongst other themes. If you are a subscriber, you get access to over 100 Deep Dives from the ORX News database. You can read some of the latest ones here:
