A new vision for operational and non-financial risk management

Join us for LeadersConnect Live in London on 21-22 May 2024.

LeadersConnect Live is ORX’s flagship in-person event. Free for our members to attend, LeadersConnect Live brings together Heads of Operational Risk and Heads of Non-Financial Risk, or equivalents, for dedicated discussions on topics of key strategic importance to the future evolution of the operational risk function.

Over the course of two days, senior leaders from ORX member firms will have the opportunity to work collaboratively on an agenda which will be shaped around their needs, providing insights and shared perspectives on trends and developments in operational risk. With plenty of time built in for networking and informal discussions, this is a valuable opportunity to meet face to face with your peers from around the world.

What's on the agenda?

The key focus for LeadersConnect Live 2024 will be discussing a new vision for operational and non-financial risk (ONFR) management. The format of the agenda will include larger group plenary sessions, with the potential for smaller more focused topics in groups and interactive discussions. There will also be a dedicated focus session for insurers on the first day.

A new vision for ONFR management

The industry is at a point of change. The consequences of the digital transformation of financial services, and the impacts from a changing world, are falling most heavily in ONFR portfolios. To help us understand this we are running a study with ONFR leaders and CROs. We'd like to understand the principal features of this from a risk perspective, the impact on risk profiles and priorities, what successful ONFR management will look like, and the key capabilities that will be required. We will be sharing the results of this study ahead of the event to support discussions.

LeadersConnect Live will also explore the key strategic capabilities that ONFR will need to deliver the vision, including the tools, systems, data, people and organisation.
