Supporting resilience and success across financial services
This year marks an important step forward for ORX as we introduce a revitalised strategic direction for the association. This strategy builds on our work last year, including the launch of Agora, our new digital platform designed to help you get more from ORX data. It also draws on our updated strategic vision for operational and non-financial risk.
Our strategy now focuses on three key areas
- Leading the discipline, particularly in emerging areas of strategy and resilience
- Driving digital transformation, focusing both on how we deliver value to our community and how best to manage risk in a digital world
- Broadening our influence, recognising the growing importance of the ecosystem and its impact on ONFR profiles
Our goal is to help you navigate an environment where operational and non‑financial risk has never been more important, or more complex.
What does this mean for 2026?
Our focus will be on making it easier for you to use our data, stay ahead of emerging risks and apply practical approaches to risk management. You’ll see:
- Strategic insights, including a 2026 to our strategic vision paper and thought‑leadership on important themes
- Better use of data, with new dashboards and insights through Agora to support benchmarking and decision‑making
- Clearer guidance, starting with the first phase of our new Risk Management Principles
- Improved tools, including the next version of the ORX Reference Control Library and updated taxonomy guidance
