Technology was the third-highest risk in the H2 2026 Top Risk Review.

Technology scores reach their highest-ever levels, with particular concern among banks

Technology risk remains the third-highest ranked risk, although the gap between it and Third Party is narrowing. The average score for Technology has reached its highest ever level in this review, and for the banking sector it now ranks in second place. This is perhaps due to an accelerated adoption of new technologies and change initiatives in comparison to other sectors.
