ORX is excited to introduce Agora, a new data exchange platform that will replace Insight and is scheduled to launch next year.
About Agora
Back in June, we invited everyone at ORX – including staff and our members and subscribers – to take part in a competition to name our new data exchange platform, which will replace Insight by the second half of 2025.
We’re thrilled to announce that the winning entry, Agora, was suggested by our Data Services Manager, Harriet Butler, here at ORX.
Agora, meaning ‘place of gathering’ or ‘marketplace’ in Greek, was historically the heart of the city – a place where ideas were exchanged, decisions made, and communities built. This perfectly reflects what we want our platform to be for our members and subscribers: a central space for data exchange, collaboration, and innovation.
Reflecting on her journey with ORX since joining in 2011, Harriet shared:

With Agora, we are building a platform that addresses the growing need for more advanced data-sharing capabilities and enhanced security features.
