We were pleased to continue our in-person regional events with the first in our series of 2024 regional forums, which took place on Wednesday 7 February in Johannesburg, South Africa.
In partnership with our local African member firm, FirstRand Ltd, ORX offered yet another occasion for convening operational and non-financial risk experts from our network of regional financial institutions in Africa. This event provided a platform for discussions about recent regulatory topics, key emerging risks and, more broadly, challenges and opportunities the function is facing.
